About the product
The Piusi K44 mechanical fuel flow meter counts the quantity of used diesel fuel or oil through a nutating disk system, which is then clearly displayed to the user on its mechanical face. The K44 is almost identical to the Piusi K33 fuel counter meter but is able to measure up to 9999.9 litres, making it designed for installations when a larger quantity of fuel may be dispensed. Made by Italian manufacturer Piusi, the K44 oil and diesel flow meters are reliable, simple to fit and calibrate options, whilst still being cost-effective due to its mechanical rather than digital design.
Benefitting from a large flow range, the K44 diesel fuel flow meters are suitable for many pump and gravity installations. The meter body can also be rotated to allow the flow from four directions (flows left to right as standard), which makes this Piusi flow meter a flexible solution for a range of installations.

Can the K44 meter be used in a gravity fed installation?
In most normal gravity fed tank installations, the minimum flow rate required for the K44 fuel flow meter to accurately count is unlikely to be continuously achieved. It could be possible if the tank was positioned high enough and kept full enough for the weight of the fuel to provide a quicker flow rate. However, for guaranteed use, we would only recommend the K24 fuel flow meter.
My installation does not flow left to right, can I still use this flow meter?
The K44 fuel flow meter is supplied as standard flowing left to right, however, the face can easily be rotated 90⁰ to allow the flow from any four directions. For how to do this, watch our video here or revert to the instruction manual which can be found in the downloads tab.
What is the difference between the Piusi K44 and K33 flow meters?
Both the Piusi K33 and K44 are designed for the precise measurement of the quantity of fuel dispensed. The main difference between these Piusi fuel meters is the number of digits displayed on their mechanical face. The Piusi K44 has a resettable totaliser of 4 digits, allowing it to read up to 9999.9 litres before needing to be reset, and a 7 digit totaliser. The Piusi K33 has a resettable totaliser of 3 digits for the measuring of up to 999.9 litres before needing to be reset, and a 6 digit totaliser. This makes the K44 the more ideal solution if you want to monitor larger quantities of fuel transfer.
